The supplier app takes the file you already have and turns it into catalogs you control, with the supplier deciding what each reseller can see.

Upload the file you have
CSV, XLS or XLSX, with whatever columns it already has. Headers and sample rows are read on upload; every upload keeps its history.

Map columns, with AI suggestions you approve
AI proposes which column is the SKU, the name, the price roles, the images. You review and confirm. Column Patterns remember the mapping so the next file from that brand arrives pre-mapped.

Organize products, prices, images
Import rules validate rows. Products, price updates, inventory and discontinued flags live on one record. Images match to SKUs by filename and are checked for gaps.

Build catalogs and share them
One file plus one rule set is a catalog: include, exclude and price-adjustment rules per catalog. Invite resellers, or approve their marketplace requests, catalog by catalog.
Where the AI helps, and where you stay in control
Suggestions you approve, mappings you keep
- Mapping suggestions. AI reads your headers and proposes a field for each column. Nothing is imported until you confirm the mapping.
- Reusable mappings. Column Patterns and AI mapping rules are saved per brand, so later uploads start from what already worked.
- Import rules. Replacements, validations, exclusions and defaults run on every import, and you can see what they changed.
- Ask Inventa. A read-only assistant that answers questions about your catalogs and products, by SKU, and explains the screens.

Tick products, paste SKUs, or send a whole catalog that keeps up with new items. Match against products already in the store by brand and SKU, so a send updates instead of duplicating.
Refresh only what changed
Update attributes rewrites chosen fields such as price, cost or description from the supplier catalog. Update images replaces all, adds what is missing, or swaps only the images InventaCloud added.

Selling your own line? Upload your spreadsheet in the supplier app, create a catalog, invite yourself as a reseller, and use the same Shopify tools on it.

Discovery is public. Access is per catalog, and always the supplier’s call.
Suppliers choose which catalogs to list. Resellers browse, then request the specific catalog they want. The supplier approves or denies each request.

Write a public description for a catalog and list it. Requests arrive in your app with the reseller’s company details; approve or deny each one. A listing shows catalog facts, never your prices.

Browse participating suppliers and their listed catalogs. Send a request with a note about your business. Once approved, the catalog appears in your reseller portal with the products and pricing that catalog delivers.

Here is who changes what.
A supplier change never rewrites a reseller’s store on its own. The supplier updates the catalog; the reseller decides when to carry the change into Shopify.

Supplier plan limits apply to catalogs, products, images and invited resellers. Resellers who connect through the marketplace do not count against a supplier’s reseller limit.

Reps work through the same workflows as the brands they represent, with the access those brands give them.
- A team member on the brand’s workspace. Owners invite reps as admins or members; the rep uploads files, builds catalogs and invites resellers for that brand.
- One login across suppliers. A reseller-side account can hold access from many suppliers and switch between them in the portal.
- Named on the account. Each invited reseller carries the rep’s name, email and phone, plus account number and terms.

Purchase orders
Resellers search the catalogs they can order from, build a draft that saves itself, pick a ship-to from their customer book, and submit. The supplier acknowledges, fulfils or denies with a reason, with email at every step and a thread per order.
Messages
One thread per supplier-reseller pair, unread counts in the sidebar, and email replies that land back in the thread. Access requests and orders keep their own conversations.
API and scale
An API on both sides, and room for a catalog of any size
Shopify is one destination. Large suppliers and large stores connect their own systems: every catalog, price, stock level and purchase order is reachable through the API, and the platform is built to carry catalogs of one hundred million SKUs.
Reseller API
Read-only keys cover catalogs, inventory, prices and your purchase orders. Read-write keys also create, cancel and message on purchase orders and add customers. Field names stay stable, so an import written once keeps working.
Built for volume
Imports run in the background with live progress, bulk jobs batch their writes, media is served from a CDN and every catalog is published as JSON. Designed for catalogs of up to 100 million SKUs; the Pro plan has no product limit.
Questions people ask first
Before you book anything
What files can a supplier upload?
CSV, XLS and XLSX catalog files, plus price sheets, inventory sheets and discontinued lists in the same formats. Images upload from a folder, a zip, a spreadsheet of links, or a direct upload inbox. Resellers download approved catalogs as Excel or JSON, and can use the API.
Does a reseller need to install anything?
No. The reseller portal runs in the browser with a one-time email code. To publish to Shopify, the reseller connects their own store with a small app they create in Shopify, following the guided steps in the portal.
Will other resellers see my prices?
No. Prices are only visible to resellers a supplier has approved for a catalog, and each catalog’s rules decide the prices it delivers. Marketplace listings show catalog facts, never prices.
What happens when the supplier changes something?
The catalog rebuilds and the reseller portal shows the change with an Updated marker. Nothing changes in a reseller’s Shopify store until the reseller sends products, runs Update attributes or Update images, or schedules a promotion.
Can I export everything and leave?
Yes. Catalogs, mappings and images can be exported as CSV, XLS or JSON at any time, from the app or the API.
